How It Works
The Primary Knowledge Curriculum Partnership
The Primary Knowledge Curriculum Partnership is a network of primary schools dedicated to the delivery of a knowledge-rich curriculum. By joining the partnership, you become part of a community of like-minded teachers, who collaborate to enrich pupils’ lives through providing them with a well-sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum.
The aims of the PKC Partnership are to:
- Support schools to embed a coherent, well-sequenced knowledge-rich curriculum
- Create a network of like-minded schools
- Provide high-quality professional development to school leaders and teachers
- Reduce teacher workload
How the partnership works
As a partner, you’ll receive all the support and guidance you need to teach our ambitious and coherent curriculum, in a way that meets the needs of your school.
Our resources can be accessed via our website and are designed to reduce the burden of knowledge gathering and planning which gives teachers the autonomy to tailor learning to the needs of their class.
Joining the PKC Partnership gives you access to materials for Years 1-6 in history, geography, art and science. Schools can choose to add English resources to their package, as well as our EYFS curriculum for Nursery and Reception. Alternatively, schools can purchase individual subjects separately. Additional training and support can also be provided.
