Reception
What are the aims of the reception curriculum?
The aim of the Reception curriculum materials is to provide children with an interesting, engaging, carefully structured introduction to ‘Understanding the World’. We believe every child deserves the best start in life and this underpins our goal to set children up with the knowledge, skills, and understanding they need to make progress in their education.
Our Reception curriculum materials will strengthen children’s understanding of the world while enriching and expanding their vocabulary to support communication. The curriculum materials support teachers whilst allowing them vital flexibility to use their own knowledge and expertise to enhance the provision in their reception classroom.
What can teachers expect from our reception curriculum?
