About the Event

This day is aimed at primary school teachers, history/geography subject leaders, curriculum leaders and senior leaders.

We will explore how to design and implement a well-sequenced history and geography curriculum. There will be a focus on how we can build children’s knowledge and conceptual understanding in these subjects, while providing meaningful opportunities for children to develop subject specific skills.

Delegates will have an opportunity to observe history and geography teaching in the primary classroom and look at children’s books, whilst networking with other teachers.

The day will be led by Emma Lennard, an experienced Curriculum Advisor for the Knowledge Schools Trust.

Please arrive for a 9.30 am start. Lunch will be provided and the day will finish at 2.30 pm.

If you have any dietary requirements, or require assistance with access, please do let us know in advance.
